gradient.horse is a website where you can draw a horse. Once you let it go, it will run, together with horses drawn by other people, forever, at the horizon.

It appears that people really love to draw horses. Since January 2026 more than 600 000 horses have been drawn - more than wild horses exist in the world - and the project appeared on tumblr, bluesky, Hacker News and The New York Times.

Maybe it’s some innate desire to draw horses running at the horizon, (that remains unmet since we stopped drawing in caves), but people love it. Try it, maybe you’ll like it too!
